Why No Tomatoes…

Years ago, having finished service, grabbing a coffee and some fresh air, some of the brigade were having one of those mindlessly random but important chats, on that ocasscion it went like this….

Chef 1, Imagine if we weren’t chefs and were in a band and released an album, what would we call it?

This lead to lots of thinking and various names for the mythical album were suggested. Two that I remember were

Chef 2, Better Cooking than Looking

Chef 3, 114 on the Door, (114 was part of the restaurants address)

It came to my turn to contribute and if you ever have to think of an album title for an imaginary band and it’s mythical album name its not as easy as you think. Looking down at the function sheet in the special diets section was the sentence…..

So there it was, the albums name was already in front of us, if we ever were to release an album that was to be the title.

Years later catching up and talking about those days we were talking about food blogs and someone remembered that conversation and suggested it as the blog name
